Establishing the cutting-edge of a communications technology (and building the company to provide it) means long nights, lots of testing, and even more analysis. After all, it's the engineering that pushes the technology from dissertation and theory to desktop and on-orbit. This month more than ever, though, the Peregrine Space team had to flex their business muscles: leading more meetings, attending more conferences, winding-down Peregrine Space's first funding round, and locking in more contracts.
Having kicked-off some of our existing hardware delivery contracts, the Peregrine Space team is actively fielding requests for more purchase orders and contracted analysis from partner organizations. One thing has become clear: Peregrine Space Corp has established effective traction and is gaining steam!
The Peregrine Space team is looking for a new space that better fits current demands for Peregrine's current scale of meetings, in-house hardware testing and component manufacturing. The team has toured a few facilites in the South Bay, Los Angeles, hoping to move in to a new space in the coming weeks/months.
Alyas, Peregrine Space's software intern, has officially completed his internship. Although Alyas is staying on with Peregrine through the summer, he wrapped up his MADO Program internship with a great poster session at UCI (the same day as Space Tech Expo). Thanks Alyas for all your fantastic work so far!
Space Tech Expo 2026 was a great event, as expected. Tyler and Ian spent the day chatting with industry vendors and key stakeholders. And, with a full day of business-to-business meetings, the Peregrine Space team made a few connections that are sure to grow in coming years!
"With the kickoff of new contracts and an upcoming move to our new production facility, I'm more excited than ever to share what we can accomplish!"
